I've lived here for almost ten years. The Dorman administration has done great things and continue to do so. Veteran friendly with lots of town activitys. It's a 9 to 5 Neighborhood, where everyone for the most part cares for their front lawn. Plus you have the Islandia Shopping center that is conveniently close by.
I have tried calling the Village office when it is "supposedly" open but all I get is busy busy busy
I am here over a decade. When the new mayor took over, everything improved-aesthetically and with conduct towards residents.
On a side note, anyone complaining about tickets from public safety, maybe you should have your vehicle up to date and not blame others for your mistakes.

If you appear, they will reduce your violation but not the fee. There was an unlicensed driver that appeared and got a fine of $500 for no license. Then skipped to his car and drove home without a license. Maybe he can skip out of getting a drivers license for many more years without insurance and without getting caught. Where is the traffic and law enforcement for these people. There were several people there with the same offense. The village only cares about the fast money. These people are happy to pay a ticket rather than a license, registration and insurance for years. It's a bargain. In the meantime innocent people are paying through the nose for insurance. How can they let this get so out of control!!!
