We went to the Happaugue TGIF in Islandia after going to a wake. The restaurant was filthy. We got there at 9pm on a Saturday night. We waited 20 min for a table. No one was in front of us waiting. From where we were standing we counted 11 empty tables with dirty dishes waiting to be cleaned. We went to TGIF for the unlimited $10 appetizers only to find out the price is $15 an appetizer.
I always go to the Massapequa TGIF and I never had a problem there.
Service was really lacking tonight. Normally they are much better. I had to keep go finding my waiter. I hope they get it together.
The $7 lunch menu is amazing for the price. It comes with a lunch size entry, fries and an appetizer. Tastes great too.
Very disappointed. I made a reservation for 16 people, requested 2 wait staff and was promised same. The first 15 min was great, drink, appetizer and dinner orders were taken. After that it was absolutely horrible. We only had 1 person waiting our table and he would disappear for a minimum of 20 min at a time. Took literally 40 min to get a glass of water. Dinner came out over an hour after we ordered. We spoke to the manager...who was trying to be funny, but told my guest (a young boy, age 8) "my mother would tell me to drink my spit", the boy's mother was insulted and did not think it was funny. The service was absolutely horrible. The lack of attention to our table caused my party guests to become frustrated and anxious. Sorry to say, I absolutely would not recommend this Friday's for large parties.
Had to ask for a server to get my order. Food was ok. Pricey. I come to be waited on. I can get to-go food anywhere.
